North American Prophetic Harp Conference

Ithaca, New York, Wednesday, August 4th - Sunday, August 8th

Do you long to see Jesus touch lives through the playing of the harp and the prophetic song? If these questions resonate in your spirit with YES!, then you should consider coming to the North American "School of the Prophetic Harp" - August 2010 session! Come to Ithaca in upstate New York in the beautiful Finger Lakes Region for a lifechanging experience and receive an impartation to minister on the harp.

This 5-day event will provide harp instruction to both beginning and experienced harpists in harp techniques and using the harp for worship, prayer and intercession.  The workshop will be led by Michael Moon, from Burlington, Canada, assisted by Elizabeth Miller, from Harps for Israel. Conference fee $380, plus travel, room and board.

INSTRUCTION INCLUDES:

• Hands-on harp instruction - harps can be made available on-site (see conference form below)
• Specific music theory required to play in a spontaneous style
• Mastering of chord and scale set up of harp including Hebraic styles
• Interpretation of a chord chart (i.e. lyrics with chords written in)
• Insights into how to flow in a prophetic song
• Introduction into the "Harp and Bowl" model as used in the IHOP Kansas
• How to use the Word as a tool in the prophetic song
• Biblical teaching on:
1. The harp and its role in; worship, intercession, the prophetic, and the restoration of the Tabernacle of David and the nation of Israel
2. The place of music in spiritual warfare, deliverance and healing
3. The qualifications of a New Testament 'Levite' and the purification process
4. Lifestyle Worship... and much more!

Area Hotels

We recommend you secure reservations ASAP.  Ithaca hotels are heavily booked due to races at the nearby Watkins Glen sports car race track.  Cortland hotels are also getting booked fast due to the New York Jets football team practice camp in August. 

Be sure to mention the Harp Conference and ask for any types of discounts for which you may qualify, such as AAA, AARP, etc.

The Prophetic Harp School has reserved a block of rooms at both of the following hotels.

Embassy Inn (Varna, NY) – (607) 272-3721 - $69+tax for single, queen bed.  $75+ tax for two people (queen or twin beds)/weekdays, $85+tax for single, queen, $99+tax for double.  

  • Nearest Motel to Conference site – about a 5-10 minute drive toward Ithaca, near the Cornell University campus. This motel is often used by Cornell University families looking for a low-budget option. 
  • A modest, but neat, clean motel. 
  • Holding several rooms for Harp conference attendees.  Be sure to mention the Harp Conference.

  • About 20 minutes from the conference site, in Cortland, NY.
  • Inexpensive, but clean and well rated.
